Thank you for the response. Actually, couple things have happened since. I am using Outlook 2011 in a Macbook Pro as well! Now, I also noticed -since the update to SP1- there are duplicates of all my personal folders including the [GMAIL] ones which contain a bunch of them as well (Gmail is the folders root of the tree). I have a folder named 'Jobs Opps', while I drag a message to it and nothing happens, I can drag the same message to the duplicate 'Jobs Opps' and it moves!!! So I decided to close up the one GMAIL (can't delete) root folder and use the duplicate and that works.

It is not the right solution but it works!!! I also like the Outlook interface and look.
